The East Islip Fire Department consists of four companies, Engine Company #1, Engine Company #2, Hook and Ladder Company #1, and Heavy Rescue Company #1 as well as the Rescue Squad and the Marine Division. Each company can have up to 35 members, with the squads being comprised off all interested members of the department.
