| The East Islip Fire Department Rescue Squad is comprised of all interested members the department. The squad is currently staffed by 12 New York State Certified EMT's and 1 Paramedics. |
| The Rescue Squad's vehicles are 3-5-6, a 2009 MedTec Ambulance and 3-5-80 a 2005 Ford Expedition First Responder. Both vehicles are New York State Certified |
